It’s been a while, but I’m delighted to see Greek post rockers we.own.the.sky back in the game with a brand-new single. With Eclipse, the guys mark their return with a carefully sculpted piece of post-rock that feels both fresh and intense, and massively immersive!

The track unfolds with patience and poise, gradually drawing the listener into its orbit. The opening passages are delicate and restrained, allowing the guitars to shimmer like distant star lights while the rhythm section pulses like a steady heartbeat beneath shifting cosmic tides. As the track progresses, layers build, and the momentum grows as each swell carries more weight and urgency.

The interplay between atmospheric space and thick, thumping power feels almost tidal, pulling you steadily toward something inevitable. That inevitability arrives in the brilliant finale to the track, which is a towering surge of sound that fuses soaring guitar lines, thunderous percussion, and a palpable emotional release. It’s glorious, but it’s short! I will give it that, but the mood is excitedly expansive, and very much unforgettable. After six years of silence, the band haven’t just returned with a new track, Eclipse feels like a rebirth! They have crafted a big statement with this release and having played it on repeat over the last few days, it is one of their most powerful tracks to date!
