I know I always tend to wax lyrical about the beauty of using spoken passages within music, the connection it brings and the emotional baggage it carries, of which you are only too happy to shoulder. It somehow brings you closer and more in sync with the storyline behind the music. Last Of Eden are masters of this art, and every time they release new music I get very excited! This latest single Need Your Help With This has just dropped and again, the guys have done something new and unexpected and it is an absolute joy to hear!
To quote the band, "this song is a celebration of connection and the strength that
comes from accepting support" ,and as long as they keep releasing music that continuously strikes a chord and resonates so powerfully with the audience, then they can always rely on our infinite support !
With its heartfelt melody, its locked in harmonies and its fully charged arrangement,, Need Your Help With This stands as yet another glorious moment in Last Of Eden’s catalogue, and it’s a reminder that strength often lies in openness, and that music’s greatest power may be in asking for help and support. What I described earlier as unexpected is the bands first step into the vocal auditorium, and just as the track suggests, they did it with the support of each other, all four chanting five words, Need Your Help With This! Its a powerful statement and it’s one that brings the band and the supporters closer and in unison. It’s sure to be a magic moment live too!
The band will be releasing their latest EP A New Consciousness on August 29th, and of course, we all hope a vinyl press is planned in the not too distant future! Please support the band!
